Develop Pohang Port as a 21st century international trade hub in the pan-East Sea region, and Yeongilmanhang as the central port in spearheading economic growth in Southeastern Republic of Korea.

Project objective

  • Develop a strategic port that can serve as a foothold to create the Northeast Asian economic region and prepare for northbound trade
  • Process cargo to and from underlying regions such as Gyeongsangbuk-do smoothly
